evolutionary astrology
Greek or ‘Western" astrology is based on the seasons, not the actual positions of the planets against the stars. It works because it happens to hold the lengthiest catalogue of human symbolic psychology according to C. G. Jung.
As an evolutionary astrologer in the style of author and teacher Steven Forrest, I work with you to reveal the questions your chart is asking YOU to consider rather than give you all the answers and predictions for how your life is going. Spoiler alert: the planets can’t make you do anything, it’s all up to you.
WHAT COMES WITH A READING?
My readings are usually 75 minutes long and can be in person, over Zoom, or by phone. I take your birthdate, birth time, and birth place to generate a chart (see example below) of the planets, Sun, and Moon from the Earth’s perspective at the time of your birth. This map becomes a symbol for themes that unfold during a person’s lifetime. We talk about them, see how much you are tuning into them, and look at ways to encourage you to go further in order for you to be “more you” rather than focusing solely on the right job or the right partner, etc…. We talk about that too, but from a soul development level. My fee is $225 and after the reading you receive a PDF copy of your chart as well as an audio recording to keep for yourself afterwards.
I have been studying astrology since 2009 and have read for hundreds of clients since then.

You can ask me to look at your chart, or Horary Chart to get the answer to one question. Please complete the form including your birth info in order to complete your request.
Using your birth information, we will connect by phone, Zoom, or in person, to look at one aspect of your chart or transits in depth.
Choose this option to purchase a 75-minute reading from Rick. If he has not read your chart before then the natal chart will be the main focus. If you are a returning client, transits and progressions along with the natal chart will be the primary content for the reading.
TESTIMONIALS
My reading with Rick was a wonderful experience. His presence powerful, and he exemplifies the qualities of calm, accepting, and supportive. I had repeated experiences of Aha! and Wow! What I liked best was his evolutionary approach: his reading identified potentialites and possibilities, and gave me more informed choices about how to best direct my effort and intention. I highly recommend Rick and his work! - Dave
My astrology reading with Rick came at the perfect time. I was feeling directionless and unsure about the future. Rick provided me with fantastic insight into a coming shift. Of course, I didn't know exactly what that shift would be, bu I was ready and open to new opportunities. A few months later, when a new job, in a new city, unexpectedly presented itself -- I was ready to take the plunge and start a new chapter in my life. Rick's guidance encouraged me to be open to a new direction in life. When that new direction became clear, I had already done the hard work of preparing my mind to make the shift. -- Emmett
Rick's readings are soulful, humorous, and full of wisdom. I highly recommend him for deep insights, especially with creativity and spirituality. -- KY
